How much of the network does EXA Infrastructure operate?

The network is operated by us, end to end: 180,000 route km of fibre and duct under one contract and one NOC. On ownership, the subsea portfolio splits six wholly owned, six held in consortium and six on long-term IRU.

What capacity is available now, and what is the roadmap?

400G wavelengths are available on the platform today, with 800G ready, and spectrum and dark fibre where you want to run your own equipment. Capacity is added into new markets ahead of orders rather than in response to them, so ask us for the current position on the routes you care about.

How diverse are the paths for AI traffic?

Nine diverse transatlantic systems, meshed with long-haul and metro protection, so alternative paths exist at each layer. For east-west traffic between data centres, diversity is planned around the corridors your traffic actually travels rather than the shortest line on a map.

How fast can new capacity be provisioned?

It depends on whether we are already on-net at both ends. Where we are, provisioning is fast and repeatable. Where we are not, we build, and the honest answer is that a build takes as long as a build takes; we will tell you the timeline before you commit.

Can routing respect data sovereignty?

Yes. Where required, routing can be designed to keep traffic within a defined jurisdiction, with the path documented to provide clear evidence of where traffic travels and support sovereignty requirements.
