How secure are the routes and sites?
The physical layer is ours to run, so access to the route and to the facilities along it is controlled and maintained by us. Managed access, physical security and 24/7 monitoring apply across the estate.
How much of the network does EXA Infrastructure own?
The network is operated by us, end to end: 180,000 route km of fibre and duct under one contract and one NOC. On ownership, the subsea portfolio splits six wholly owned, six held in consortium and six on long-term IRU.
What compliance evidence is available?
Documentation covering route diversity, physical security and access control is available to support your compliance processes, alongside ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications. Tell us what your procurement or audit process requires and we will confirm what we can provide.
Can routing stay within one jurisdiction?
Where required, routing can be designed to keep traffic within a defined jurisdiction, with the path documented to provide clear evidence of where traffic travels and support sovereignty requirements.
How is resilience assured?
One meshed network across land and sea, with multiple paths between any two points rather than a single route and a backup. Corridor thinking plans those paths around real-world failure scenarios, with nine diverse transatlantic systems providing resilience across the Atlantic. Because the mesh is ours to design, diversity is engineered rather than assembled from other operators’ networks.
How do you accommodate government procurement needs?
We offer different commercial structures across Wavelengths, Spectrum, Dark Fibre and a Managed Fibre Network (MFN), including flexible terms and contract models. We can adapt the commercial approach to fit your requirement, and you'll be working with a team experienced in government and defence projects.
Can we install and maintain our own equipment?
Yes. On Dark Fibre you keep access to the sites along your route, so your own engineers maintain your own equipment. If you would rather hand that over, we can run the network for you as a Managed Fibre Network.
