The physical layer is ours to run, so access to the route and to the facilities along it is controlled and maintained by us. Managed access, physical security and 24/7 monitoring apply across the estate.
The network is operated by us, end to end: 180,000 route km of fibre and duct under one contract and one NOC. On ownership, the subsea portfolio splits six wholly owned, six held in consortium and six on long-term IRU.

Yes. On Dark Fibre you keep access to the sites along your route, so your own engineers maintain your own equipment. If you would rather hand that over, we can run the network for you as a Managed Fibre Network.
